Connie Jean Lewandowski, formerly Connie Haslinger, has served the People of the State of Ohio for 34 years. She was previously employed by the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, where she served faithfully for 17 years. She served 4 Prosecutor’s and worked up the ranks to the position of Chief Criminal Prosecutor. Lewandowski then became employed by the Portage County Prosecutor’s office, where she has been employed for 17 years.

Lewandowski served as a Senior Prosecuting Attorney litigating Major Crimes. Lewandowski has had 3 decades of litigation experience. She has prosecuted 1,000’s of career criminals and high-level felons, throughout her tenure, including but not limited to, Capital Cases, Aggravated Murder, Homicides, Aggravated Arson, Aggravated Robbery & Burglary, Rape, Child & Elder Abuse, SVU Crimes, White Collar Crime, RICO, Drug Traffickers and the like. Lewandowski has prosecuted some of the most sadistic defendants, cases that have been nationally recognized, including a suspect featured in “America’s Most Wanted. Lewandowski is a seasoned Prosecutor who has been recognized as a tough Prosecutor who is steadfast to law enforcement and victims.

In 2003, Lewandowski was awarded Prosecutor of the Year by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association for the entire State of Ohio. In 2005, she was featured as an “Honored Attorney” by University of Akron School of Law. In 2007, Lewandowski was awarded Litigator of Excellence in Child Abuse Cases by Akron Police Department. And in 2007 & 2008 she was twice Awarded Outstanding Efforts in OVI Prosecutions & Enforcement. In February of 2024, Lewandowski was featured in Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine for honored lawyers.
